SuPorts goes to Brussels for the Open Days!

For a decade, the committee of the Regions of the European Union has been organizing around October an international event in Brussels dedicated to the cooperation between local administrations of Europe. From the 08th to the 11th of October, around 20 conferences and workshops per day were organized the Regional policy related topics and especially on territorial cooperation.

In this framework, the Seine Maritime County Council staff took the opportunity to present the SuPorts project.
Firstly, the INTERREG IV C Programme organized an exhibition showcasing the different interregional projects. SuPorts was one of these projects and an emphasis was put on the development of methodological tools enabled by SuPorts through the work done by ECOSLC, ISPRA and AUTH in partnership with the ports of the project.

But SuPorts was also presented through another medium. Indeed, the CEPLI (European Confederation of Local Intermediate Authorities) was organizing a debate on European cooperation for NUTS 3 level local administrations. M. Nicolas Rouly, Vice-president of Seine-Maritime county council, used this opportunity to present and promote the work done by SuPorts for all the topics tackled by the project to a public of european affairs specialists and officers as well as other elected members from county councils in Europe.
